KAIZEN ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID is a coenzyme that is capable
of fighting free radicals in both fatty and water-based environments,
which allows it to function in the regeneration of vitamins C and E (powerful
antioxidants) and glutathione. This makes KAIZEN ALPHA-LIPOIC
ACID perform both as an enzyme cofactor and antioxidant functions
in the body. KAIZEN ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID also has several potential
benefits for diabetics. It enhances glucose uptake in non insulin-dependent
diabetes and inhibits glycosylation (the abnormal attachment of sugar
to protein). It has also been used to improve diabetic nerve damage and
reduce pain associated with that nerve damage. Preliminary evidence also
indicates improvement in the visual function for people who suffer from
glaucoma. As for body-builders, KAIZEN APLHA-LIPOIC ACID increases
the levels of intra-cellular glutathione, which has been shown to enhance
recovery from heavy training by reducing intra-cellular damage. It also
