CLA
Conjugated Linoleic Acid
KAIZEN® Clarinol Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a free fatty acid mixture using GMO-free safflower oil and a gentle proprietary process that converts natural linoleic acid into a CLA. KAIZEN® Clarinol CLA is produced in a dedicated plant in Wormerveer, the Netherlands by a team of world class experts focused on the production of quality product. This unique manufacturing method results in the highest available concentration of the two active CLA fatty acids or isomers c9,t11 and t10,c12. Isomer cis-9, trans-11 (c-9, t-11) appears to lower triglyceride levels while isomer trans-10, cis-12 (t-10, c-12) has shown to be important in reducing fat mass, enhancing immune response to viruses, managing glucose and reducing cancers.
Although CLA is also naturally found in beef, lamb, veal, pork, and well as dairy products, the consumption of these foods has decreased in the past 20 years. This has resulted in a unbalanced intake of omega-6 to omega-3 in our diets. CLA studies have shown that it may have an impact on many chronic health risks such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, glucose tolerance, hyperinsulinemia and stress.
Further benefits may also include improved immune function, decreased mammary tumors, decreased metastasis growth, as well as positive antioxidant, anti-aging, weight loss, cholesterol and anti-carcinogenic effects. Produced and or licensed under U.S. Patents # 5,428,072 # 5,430,066 and 5,554,646. Clarinol is a registered trademark of Loders Croklaan Inc. Potency guaranteed by GC analysis.
