Glucosamine naturally occurs in the body, and is sodium free. It comes
from sugar and amino acids and is derived from crab shell. Glucosamine
has been thoroughly studied for the treatment of osteoarthritis - a painful
condition in which cartilage slowly degenerates. It is also used for its
anti-inflammatory effects and treating arthritis by helping regenerate
cartilage. Virtually anyone who trains with weights, over a period of
years, is bound to experience certain overuse injuries. Glucosamine can help you recover from connective-tissue injuries and may assist in
strengthening this tissue. If your shoulders, elbows, or knees ache, Glucosamine can help.
